Two staff members of Vista have been rewarded in recognition for 20 years of loyal service. Office manager, Nicola Brown and purchasing manager Chris Warrington, who have both been with the company since it was first established in 1995, were presented with gold watches as a thank you for their two decades of dedication to Vista.
A company that values it’s staff
Managing Director Keith Sadler is proud of his fantastic team, stating how “I’ve always believed you can judge a company by how it treats its staff… the fact we’ve been able to keep people for two whole decades just shows how much we’ve succeeded in our aim to be an excellent, supportive place to work. Over the years, Chris and Nicola have become really valued members of the team – I can’t imagine Vista without them. I want to take this chance to thank them publically for all they’ve done for us over the past twenty years.”
Staff that love working for Vista
Chris: “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time at Vista and am proud to have played a part in our growth from humble beginnings into one the biggest manufacturers of PVC-u panels, composite doors in the UK, employing 110 staff. I’ve seen lots of changes at Vista but our commitment to providing customers with the very best products and service has remained constant and I strongly believe it’s that ethos that has allowed us to grow year on year.”
Nicola: “The economic climate hasn’t always been rosy during the last two decades but we’ve ridden the storm and come out stronger the other side. It was touching of Keith to present both myself and Chris with a watch in recognition of our service but it was very typical of Vista. The company really looks after its staff and that is why I have stayed loyal for 20 years.”
20 years as a market leader
There were plenty of other causes for celebration at Vista during its twentieth year in business. Continuing the unbroken year-on-year growth it has experienced since it was established, the fabricator saw a 30% rise in coloured composite doors and an 11% rise in contemporary-style doors. With a £100k investment in a new CNC router, Vista also increased its door production from 700 to 1,000 a week on a single shift.
Looking ahead, Vista has big plans for 2016. “This month we’ll be releasing our new XtremeDoor brochure, which will feature the huge range of different colour options we’ve phased in over the last year – and later in the year, we’ll be launching a new composite door range,” Keith continued. “I want us to continue growing, and building a company people want to work for – and hope that some of our 2016 new starters will still be with us in 20 years to come.”
A company you can rely on
Fantastic employees, products, and services are what make Vista one of the UK’s largest specialist composite door fabricators. Vista was founded in 1995 and since then have grown without compromising on quality or efficiency.
Combining all of these factors, it is clear to see that Vista offer a trade supply that you can rely on – we care about people as much as products, a winning ethos in the construction and home improvement industries.
