Vista Panels has received its most recent membership certificate with SBD, the leading composite door manufacturer’s 17th renewal.
Pip Anger, the company’s long-standing Technical Director, took the opportunity to receive the certificate at this year’s FIT Show.
He comments: “The impressive 17th renewal of Vista’s SBD membership makes us one of the industry’s longest serving door manufacturers, with this certificate highlighting our Police Preferred Specification (PPS) credentials on our impressive range of best-selling doors, locks and hardware.
“AT Vista, we pride ourselves on our ability to ensure that our products are manufactured to meet the requirements of all the latest industry standards, including PAS24:2016 and CE marked/UKAS marked. We are also members of the Association of Composite Door Manufacturers (ACDM).
“Being members of Secured by Design is a must for us – having it is not only a requirement for a lot of our products, but it also shows our customers that we are a fully accredited company that fully tests our products in accordance with industry standards.”
Having been proud SBD members for the last 17 years, Vista Panels continues to show its dedication and commitment to supplying its customers – within the domestic, social housing and newbuild markets – with high-quality, reliable and secure doors. Not only does this offer greater peace of mind to the specifier and homeowner, but also to the tradesmen fitting the doors.
Secured by Design is owned by the UK Police Service and works to improve the security of buildings and their immediate surroundings, with the specific aim of reducing crime and helping people live more safely. SBD is the only way for companies to obtain police recognition for security-related products in the UK.
SBD Development Officer Hazel Goss comments: “It was great to present one of our member companies with their most recent certification at the FIT Show. Vista Panels have been long-standing members since 2006 and it has been a true pleasure being able to work alongside them as their Development Officer. I’m looking forward to many more years of successful collaboration.”
