High specification composite door: built to withstand extreme weather conditions
Forward thinking door manufacturer, Merseyside based Vista, has launched a new composite door designed to protect UK homes from extreme weather conditions and the most forceful would-be intruders.
XtremeDoor brings together leading door components and is arguably the highest specification product of its kind on the market today. This impressive new product is backed by a new brand and offers installers the chance to really stand out in the competitive composite door market.
XtremeDoor features and benefits
Enhanced security
Many composite doors have a three or four point lock. XtremeDoor has a five point lock, keeping any would-be intruders at bay. The door can be upgraded to Secured by Design standards.
Better thermal performance
All XtremeDoors are edgebanded with a thermally efficient uPVC strip. This means it can achieve a U-value of 0.8 W/m²K in some styles.
Extreme weather protection
XtremeDoor incorporates a triple sealed uPVC outerframe, offering extreme protection from the elements.
Attractive aesthetics designed for stylish homeowners
The XtremeDoor is available in a host of standard colours, but thanks to Vista’s in-house spray facility can be finished in any RAL colour. New stainless steel glazing is also available; giving the XtremeDoor a truly continental look.
High quality components
XtremeDoor is made using the finest components, including the Nan Ya slab, stainless steel hardware and a three way adjustable hinge to guarantee maximum performance. Stainless steel hardware that comes with a 25 year guarantee.
Vista Director Keith Sadler on the XtremeDoor
Managing director Keith Sadler discusses the new product in more detail: “Demand for composite doors has grown substantially over the past few years and we could see a gap in the market for a high specification door offering the very best in thermal efficiency, security and aesthetics – and so set about developing XtremeDoor.
“We called the product XtremeDoor because, as the name suggests, it does everything to the extreme. For instance the door has a five point lock (none of the major mainstream composite door manufacturers use a 6 point lock), it has a triple sealed outerframe (none use a quadruple sealed outerframe) and some styles can achieve an incredibly low U-Value of 0.8 W/m²K. XtremeDoor genuinely stands head and shoulders above other composite doors on the market today and means installers can sell an added value product rather than competing on price.
“We’re really excited about the potential of XtremeDoor and have created a fresh new brand to promote the product to the trade and to help installers sell to the public. If you would like to know more, contact Vista and pre-order a copy of our new consumer facing brochure.”
