Leading composite door manufacturer and PVCu panel supplier Vista has hit the ground running for customers as the country starts to slowly come out of lockdown.
After a phased and controlled reopening of its operations in May, the Wirral-based Vista has been scaling-up staff and production levels on a week-by-week basis since as demand has risen.
Observing all Government Covid-19 health and safety working guidelines, including social distancing, making personal protective equipment (PPE) available for the team, and staff training, Vista has put everything in place to be able to provide the levels of service to customers they are accustomed to.
Rising to the challenge
Like so many other businesses, closing its factory in the middle of March was inevitable as the Covid-19 pandemic hit, with Vista donating all PPE they would not be using, including goggles, masks, protective suits, and gloves to frontline NHS workers.
But throughout that period, Vista made sure they kept in touch with customers remotely to provide reassurance and answer any queries.
It’s this approach that, according to Managing Director Keith Sadler, has allowed Vista to hit the ground running for customers as things start slowly getting back to normal.
“The last three to four months have been hugely challenging, and of course some of our customers have been nervous and have reached out to us for advice,” said Keith.
“While we had closed our operations, we were still keeping in touch with our customers and taking calls and enquires as it was important to provide them with ongoing support and show them that they could count on us.”
The phased reopening of manufacturing operations meant Vista could put a limited production and support team in place to fulfil immediate customer demands and Keith added: “It was important to try and get things moving as much as we could and this has allowed us to really kick on and start where we left off as our usual business volumes return.”
Delivering for customers
Having celebrated 25 years in business in May, Vista has more than two decades of experience in supplying and supporting customers across the UK with the products that will help their business grow.
In that time the company has seen the country go through recessions, financial crashes, and Brexit – and they understand that their customers need a door supplier they can count on and trust to deliver so they can get their businesses up and running again after these challenging times too.
“Our experience has allowed Vista to stay strong during the last three months and it’s why we have stood the test of time for the last 25 years,” said Keith.
“Being able to reopen, resume manufacturing, and fulfil orders, has meant we are able to deliver for our customers when they need it the most, as we have always done.
“All orders will be processed, manufactured and dispatched to customers as quickly as possible and it’s great to be able to work with our customers again and deliver the doors they want after what has been an unprecedented time.”
