The new machines are now fully operational from Vista’s 50,000 square foot factory and will allow the company to produce higher volumes while retaining the exceptional quality standards for which they are renowned.
Vista’s managing director Keith Sadler discusses the news: “Vista have experienced incredible demand in 2014 and we decided now was a good time to increase our manufacturing capacity. We anticipate the number of fabricators and installers buying-in XtremeDoor will only increase over time and the new machinery means we are well prepared for future growth.”
Vista Panels, one of the United Kingdom’s largest door manufacturers
Vista is one of the UK’s largest door manufacturers, producing 2,900 composite doors and 6,000 PVC-u panels on average every month. Vista’s new composite door, XtremeDoor, is the most highly specified door on the market. It is made with the Nan Ya GRP composite slab and has a five point lock, triple sealed outerfame and stainless steel hardware with a 25 year guarantee as standard.
“Most similarly priced composite doors have a two or three point lock, double sealed outerframe and zinc hardware so you can see why XtremeDoor stands out from the competition” Keith adds. “XtremeDoor can achieve a U-value of just 0.8 in some styles and recent tests have proved it to be 19% more thermally efficient than the solid timber core composite door and 17% more thermally efficient than the traditional timber door – all great selling points for Vista customers.”
Vista also recently launched a new thicker PVC-u panel designed to integrate with Modus, Eurocells’ new triple glazed window system. The panel is available up to 44mm thick and is available in a choice of colours and styles.
